| Brian Shepherd – Born 1948
Brian Shepherd, was educated in Salisbury Wiltshire England., and studied painting and graphics at Salisbury Art College.
During his time spent working on paintings and illustrations in the advertising industry, he learnt to use the airbrush as another painting medium. He wanted to stay with paint, so in 1985 using his painterly skills and considerable artistic experience, Brian started a custom paint business, working on motorcycles, trucks and guitars etc, for which he became very established.
A love of urban architecture and an abiding interest in popular culture inspires most of his recent works. Observation in the midst of modern city life can identify areas of beauty and interest where we might least expect to find it. Brian's oil paintings make issue of the things we might take for granted and questions our aesthetic values.
